About Mortgage Consensus Index

A clearer view of how AI platforms recommend mortgage providers—and what those recommendations can and cannot tell you.

Research for a more informed shortlist

Mortgage Consensus Index publishes research into the mortgage providers that appear in AI-generated recommendations. Our studies bring the responses together so readers can compare agreement, differences, and the context behind a result.

An AI consensus is a measure of the research responses. It is not a lender quality guarantee, a personalized mortgage recommendation, or a prediction of approval. The useful question is which providers surfaced for a particular need, and why—not which provider must be right for every borrower.

What you will find here

The publication includes consensus indexes, provider fit reviews, and explanations of how the research works. A study's own date, platform coverage, source material, and limitations matter more than a headline considered on its own.

  • Indexes compare providers within the scope of a specific study.
  • Fit reviews put one provider's appearance in the research into context.
  • Methodology and editorial pages explain how to interpret the evidence.

Use the research as a starting point

Read the full study before relying on a ranking. Check current products and availability with the provider, and compare actual loan offers before making a financial decision. The research does not account for your full financial circumstances.
